Terrebonne Parish Library Free Art and School Supply Swap

HOUMA, La. (press release) – The Terrebonne Parish Library will host its Free Art and School Supply Swap on Saturday, July 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Main Library Large Meeting Room.
Organizers share that this community-driven event encourages creativity, sustainability and sharing by helping artists, crafters, students, teachers and families exchange supplies they no longer need for materials they can put to good use.
During designated donation days from July 1 through July 17, community members are invited to bring new or gently used art and school supplies to the Main Library. Those who donate will receive a special Early Bird Ticket, granting access to the swap from 10 – 10:30 a.m., 30 minutes before general admission begins.
“We’re excited to offer a fun and environmentally friendly way for community members to share resources, reduce waste and inspire creativity,” said Director of the Terrebonne Parish Library System Mary Cosper LeBoeuf. “Whether you’re a student preparing for the school year, an artist looking for fresh materials or a crafter eager to try something new, this event has something for everyone.”
