New EatLafayette App for Lafayette Parish Dining Scene
Free app from Lafayette Travel connects users to locally owned restaurants

LAFAYETTE, La. (press release) — Lafayette Travel officially launched the EatLafayette app on April 8 during its membership luncheon, where tourism and hospitality industry partners gathered for the announcement.
The new EatLafayette app is designed to help locals and visitors discover, dine and support Lafayette Parish’s locally owned restaurants. The free app is now available for download on both iOS and Android devices.
Lafayette Travel organizers share that the EatLafayette app brings the best of the parish’s dining scene to users’ fingertips, featuring hundreds of locally owned eateries, event and live music listings and curated food trails, like the popular Po-boy Trail.
Users can explore by cuisine, location or experience to discover the dining options in Lafayette Parish.
“The EatLafayette app is a natural next step in our mission to celebrate and support Lafayette Parish’s locally owned restaurants,” said Ben Berthelot, president & CEO of Lafayette Travel. “It’s a tool that puts the heart of our culinary culture right in your hands, whether you’re craving a po-boy, gumbo, or just looking to try something new.”
Organizers share that the app builds on EatLafayette’s longstanding tradition of promoting the parish’s vibrant culinary culture, giving locals and visitors an easy way to explore the tastes that make Lafayette Parish one of the South’s top food destinations.
The launch event included a live demonstration of the app and highlighted how the platform enhances the visitor experience by connecting users not only to restaurants, but also to local attractions, accommodations and events all in one place.
The EatLafayette app is free and available now in the App Store and Google Play.
