Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana Will Host Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, a 1-to-1 youth mentoring organization, has tickets on sale now for its annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre fundraiser.
Event: Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre: “The Death of a Showgirl”
The clock turns back a full century for “The Death of a Showgirl,” a murder mystery dinner theatre. Prohibition may be the law of the land, but that won’t stop the champagne from flowing or the jazz from playing. Flapper girls light up the floor, gangsters whisper in the shadows and secrets shimmer beneath the stage lights. When the music fades, and the spotlight dims, one question remains… who killed the showgirl? Slip into your finest — feathers, fringe and a touch of danger — for a night that’s equal parts glamour, mischief and mystery.

At no cost to the families served, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana unites young people (Littles) with caring, positive adult role models (Bigs) in professionally-supported 1-to-1 mentoring friendships.
According to the organization, the evidence-based 1-to-1 mentoring model is designed to bridge the opportunity gap by meeting kids where they are and empowering them to transform their lives and their communities. These mentoring relationships provide Littles with the tools they will need to overcome the adversities they face and develop the characteristics they need for academic, social and economic success.
