LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – AOC Community Media announced the return of its Deep Digital workshop series, monthly, hands-on media arts classes designed to spark creativity and build practical skills in adults across Acadiana.

These free sessions – organizers share – offer an inclusive, welcoming space for learners of all experience levels to explore the power of storytelling through technology. Whether you’re curious about the basics of TV production, eager to dive into beginner-friendly video editing, or ready to add some animated flair to your holiday greetings, there’s a class tailored just for you.

The first workshop kicks off on Sept. 18, and spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged. All sessions are held at AOC’s downtown Lafayette studios and taught by experienced instructors who blend technical know-how with community spirit. Each class is crafted to be accessible, engaging, and rooted in local culture—perfect for hobbyists, nonprofit staff, or anyone looking to expand their creative toolkit.

“These workshops are more than just skill-building—they’re about connection, confidence, and celebrating the creative voices in our community,” said Tiffany Estes, Development Director at AOC. “We’re excited to welcome new faces and longtime members alike into a space where learning is hands-on, inclusive, and fun.”
