Downtown Lafayette Unlimited Announces Dates for the 2024 Bach Lunch Series

LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Downtown Lafayette Unlimited is excited to produce another Bach Lunch series in 2024. Mark your calendars for Boma Bango on April 12, Major Handy and the Louisiana Blues Band ft. Sharona Thomas on April 19, T’Monde on Oct. 11, and Julian Primeaux on Oct. 18.

“Bach Lunch is a great way for the downtown workforce to enjoy their lunch break and is the perfect stop for Friday field trips in Acadiana,” says Jessica Hauerwas, Executive Director of Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, the nonprofit that produces the series. “This year, Downtown Lafayette is especially excited about the approaching completion of the Playground at Parc Sans Souci, a project spearheaded by our organization and funded entirely by private donations. We invite the community to join us for live music, good food, and fun for all ages.”

Food vendors will begin selling lunch at 11:00 a.m., and live music will begin at 12:00 p.m. Bring your blankets and chairs so that you can enjoy the show picnic-style.

Bach Lunch is a free, community music series and returns to Downtown Lafayette thanks to long-time presenting sponsor Oats & Marino.
