Parish Proud Partners with One Acadiana to Amplify the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Clean Biz Program

LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – PARISH PROUD, after receiving an $8,000 Healthy Communities Grant from Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB), has used the funding to create Troop Buckets, which will be distributed by One Acadiana through the KLB Clean Biz Program!

The Troop Buckets will include essential items such as Litter Grabbers, Reflective Vests, Trash Bags, and Gloves. Thanks to the generous support of KLB, each bucket will also include a new flag, serving both as a safety measure and a symbol of community pride.

Sarah Mary Toce-Donlon, Development Director of Parish Proud, noted, “Placemaking thrives on collaborations like this. We aim to unite the collective passion of our community and channel this collaborative spirit in a singular direction, achieving together bigger initiatives than we could do alone.”

KLB’s Clean Biz Program helps businesses showcase their environmental responsibility. By taking the pledge through One Acadiana, you’ll get a Troop Bucket, a KLB Window Cling, and recognition across all three organizations’ marketing channels.
