Aimia Doucet, better known as “Mimi,” joined the Acadiana Team at GMFS in 2014, where she is now GMFS Acadiana Branch Manager, providing her special brand of expertise and hospitality in helping customers with new construction on their one-time close construction loan. GMFS proudly offers Homestyle Renovation loans as well as Interim Construction loans throughout the Gulf Coast Region. Mimi’s love of service with people is what brought her into the mortgage industry and has helped her become a top lender, not just at GMFS, but in the state of Louisiana as well.
Originally from Church Point, Louisiana, she now resides in Lafayette and loves everything about it. Her favorite pastime, when not working, is enjoying all of the cultural events Lafayette has to offer, especially listening and dancing to live Zydeco music.
