As founder and co-owner of Serenity MedAesthetics, Christy McDonald Lenahan was able to grow a small startup into a thriving medical spa serving more than 1,800 clients across Acadiana. For Christy, aesthetics is about more than appearance; it’s about wellness, confidence, and connection, as she prides herself on combining clinical skill with genuine care to help people feel their best inside and out. Through Serenity MedAesthetics, Christy has been able to invest in causes that reflect both her professional values and honor families who have experienced the loss of a child, a deeply personal mission that continues to guide her work and her giving.

A published author and invited speaker featured in several peer-reviewed nursing journals and at national and regional conferences, Christy’s work at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette College of Nursing & Health Sciences has offered her the privilege of mentoring the next generation of advanced practice nurses; helping them to view leadership not as authority, but as purposeful action grounded in service, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to those who rely on their care.
