Music Returns to Vermilionville
LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park invites the community to the return of Saturday Cajun Jam Sessions beginning, Saturday, Oct. 17, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and the Sunday Concert Series beginning Sunday, Oct. 18, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

says Jamie Dupuis, Director of Communications for Vermilionville. The Saturday Cajun Jam Session Series includes some of the area’s finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels – beginner to professional. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and listen.
Our Sunday Concert Series, also known as Le Bal du Dimanche, features some of the areas hottest artists. This week’s performer, T’Monde, will perform live in the Performance Center.
Vermilionville takes its staff and visitors’ safety seriously. We encourage visitors to wear masks and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the village. Dancing is not permitted at this time according to the newest government guidelines.
