What began as a desire to know the construction process while self-contracting his personal home led Walter Arceneaux to take a construction class. After enjoying the building process, he also learned to install wood flooring and a little about countertop fabrication to add to his book of knowledge. He took the test to become a licensed contractor and has held his license for 14years. What began as building speculative homes in Grand Pointe Subdivision, Arceneaux Custom Builders, LLC grew into a business mostly focused on custom homes. He is also a licensed commercial contractor and is currently working on an addition and remodel of Trinity Anglican Church on Verot School Rd. He has become known as a high-end residential contractor, and his projects range from approximately 3,600 sf to a current project of a 14,000 sf home.

As a former regional manager with Community Coffee, Walter credits his customer service background for his
current clients’ satisfaction and referral business; a major factor in the custom home market. By bringing attention to detail to each home with integrity and pride, Walter treats each custom home as if it were his own; his ultimate goal is to have a homeowner/client who is well served and pleased with the end product.
