Junior League of Lafayette Announces 2025 Touch-a-Truck Event

LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Junior League of Lafayette is set to host its annual Touch-a-Truck event from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, at Blackham Coliseum. This family-friendly event offers children and adults an interactive opportunity to explore and learn about a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and construction machinery.
“Touch-a-Truck provides a unique, hands-on experience that educates and entertains attendees of all ages,” said Ayesha Martin, president of Junior League of Lafayette. “We’re thrilled to bring the community together for a day of fun while supporting our Mission to advance women’s leadership and make a meaningful impact in our local area.”
Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure as numerous trucks roll into town, inviting families to climb aboard and explore the fascinating world of big machines. This includes an exploration of a wide variety of vehicles, such as ambulances, fire trucks, excavators, garbage trucks, cranes, SWAT units, boats, BearCats, bucket trucks, skid steers, transporters, and much more!
