Founder of Doucet ENT, Dr. Maria Doucet is an expert in comprehensive ENT care and Lafayette’s first female ENT surgeon. She is highly respected by peers and patients, and has received multiple honors, including Vitals Compassionate Doctor, Patient’s Choice Awards, and Castle Connelly Top Doctors. She has been recognized as a Woman of Distinction, Times of Acadiana Faces to Watch and Leadership Lafayette Class XX.

In addition to authoring numerous articles and lecturing at medical forums, she has appeared as a guest physician on local television. Dr. Doucet is co-author of the book Sleep Apnea and Snoring. Her philanthropic endeavors as a patron of many charities have included hosting numerous events and fundraisers. Dr. Doucet has served on various boards, including Natural History Museum, CME of Acadiana, and President of Lafayette Parish Medical Society.
