30th Annual Tinsel & Treasures Holiday Market Tickets Available
LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Tickets for Acadiana’s largest holiday shopping market are on sale now!
Junior League of Lafayette’s annual Tinsel & Treasures holiday market returns to the CAJUNDOME Convention Center Sept. 21-23.
“Tinsel & Treasures is a one-stop shopping experience and a great opportunity to get your early holiday shopping done, all while benefiting the community,” said Paige Capell, 2023 Tinsel & Treasures Chair. “We are excited to help get everyone in the holiday spirit and hope to make this our most successful market yet!”
Market vendors include local favorites, as well as merchants from across the country. More than 40 new vendors and over 100 boutique-like shops include jewelry, food, gifts, toys, home décor, and apparel.
“We are proud to offer Tinsel & Treasures to our community as one way to help give back to the Lafayette area.” Capell said. “The funding allows us to provide financial support for Junior League of Lafayette and its Mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.”
Tinsel & Treasures market and events information:
- General Market
- 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, September 21. Strollers permitted on from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday only.
- 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, September 22.
- 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, September 23.
- Single-day entry is $15. Children 10 and younger are admitted free.
- Preferred Shopping – sponsored by Joseph & Swan Eye Center – from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21. Gain exclusive early admission to the market that includes complimentary breakfast, door prizes, and all-day market entry on Thursday. Tickets are $35 per person and limited quantities are available.
- Santa Sneak Peek – sponsored by Acadiana Pediatric Dentistry – from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, September 21 This is a free event included with your general admission ticket and will include your complimentary picture with Santa Claus.
- Cocoa with Mrs. Claus – sponsored by Roots Pediatric Dentistry – from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, September 21. Join Mrs. Claus for story time and hot cocoa! This is a free event included with your general admission ticket.
- Ladies’ Night – sponsored by Paul’s Jewelry – from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 22. Join us for a fabulous Friday night shopping experience including a DJ, and a specialty cocktail available for purchase. This is a free event included with your general admission ticket. Gain access to a VIP area with the purchase of a $35 Ladies’ Night ticket for hors d’oeuvres and a bag full of specialty items, including gift certificates, discounts to vendors at T&T, and more! - Bells, Bingo, and Bubbly – from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, September 23. Take a break from shopping our wonderful merchants to enjoy a fun game of bingo and win fabulous prizes! Bingo cards are $25 and includes six game cards and a mimosa.
- Sparkle & Shine Raffle – sponsored by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry – Tickets are available for $10 each now until September 23 at juniorleagueoflafayette.com, at Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry located at 4235 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in the Whole Foods shopping center, at Junior League of Lafayette Headquarters in River Ranch, or from any Junior League of Lafayette Member. The drawing will be held at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, September 23. Winners need not be present to win but must be 18 years or older.
- First prize is $10,000 cash
- Second prize is a $10,000 Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry shopping spree.
