Lorraine Luquette Vannoy grew up in a household where business and family were one. Lorraine’s grandfather Jesse Luquette founded Service Chevrolet Cadillac, and the family legacy of “Service” continues today.

“Some people might say that I took a path that was expected of me, but I know I took the path that was meant for me,” says Lorraine. Today, Lorraine works to move the company forward while preserving a family legacy that prioritizes empowering its employees while providing a meaningful product—and often a milestone moment—for customers.

Service Chevrolet Cadillac received the Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Award and has been named Acadiana’s #1 Chevrolet Dealer and Dealer of the Year by General Motors. Lorraine credits the company’s irreplaceable staff for its continued success.

“Service’s slogan, ‘Our Family Serving Yours,’ is not a representation of just the Luquette family; it encompasses every employee from the bottom to the top,” she says.

The dealership maintains significant involvement in the community and supports a number of organizations and initiatives from sports teams and arts festivals to charities and first responders.
