Amy Jones Kane began her career as Sports Director of KATC before California came calling. She moved away from Louisiana to cover the NFL, NBA, and MLB, but eventually Amy left the anchor desk for good when family called her back home.
After her work in television, Amy moved into the brand/advertising space and worked with clients such as the Green Bay Packers and the NBA Retired Players Association. She was also a sought-after political consultant for nearly two decades while running her own multi-million dollar companies.
In 2023, Amy returned to her sports roots with the launch of Southern Coast Sports, a brand, NIL, and endorsement management company. She co-founded the agency to help athletes—especially college student-athletes—navigate the new territory of NIL opportunities and already has several high-profile athletes on the roster.
“I’m passionate about this company,” says Amy. “It combines my knowledge of sports, business and branding to help athletes maximize their image and marketability and increase their earning potential.”
